This thread is to create a stockpile of information about changes to dg bosses with EoC. Post anything you notice, research is preferred but speculation makes research easier. Looking for info on all bosses including ones that are rarely done atm, such as high furnished/frozen (5:5 floors of course).

Things to keep in mind:
- cb style
- weapon choice
- bind loadout choice
- abilites
- survival techniques
- boss's dps
- kill speed
- rager usage
- boss level

Curse- interestingly range no longer seems to be effective, melee much preferred

Flesh- First form not hexable, melee is best. Second form both hex + melee hit, hex possibly more dps? will look into this more

Bullwark- Higher defence overall compared to pre- eoc, melee until shell is down but keep your weapon equipped. Once shell is down, melee + hex hit with hex seemingly more dps, also needs to be looked into more

Runebound- Boss itself has much less dps than before EoC

Gravecreeper- Much lower defence compared to pre- EoC, rager no longer required, both range + melee hit well, range preferred?

Shadow Forger - boss's dps is lower than in live game, survival much easier, also boss's defence is lower, rager no longer required and hex is very effective

Ballak - defence is still extremely low as long as lured correctly, all 3 combat styles hit well, range probably best, boss's dps MUCH lower

Stomp - BN does work to kill last phase, the crystal phases make keeping your adrenaline up very problematic, keeping a pgt outside to attack monsters + gain adrenaline may be a good strategy. The crystal phases slow down kill speed immensely, what was the 2nd best furn boss pre EoC is probably know one of the worst

NOTE TO ALL NOOBS: if you don't know how to do Thundy you better learn now! Thunderous is probably the fastest occult boss now, it's fucking amazing.

*Hex seemed to be doing very well. Might have to look into this more.

- cb style: Melee
- weapon choice: P2h
- bind loadout choice: P2h, Hex, Bn, Ppl8
- abilites: Conor's Melee Boss layout, Kick works great.
- survival techniques: hide behind pillars, soul split+turm
- boss's dps: low af, unless you get hit by his true powers
- kill speed: FAST
- rager usage: 0
- boss level: N/a

Note: Quake lowers defence on bosses, so ragers may become redundant yet, who knows.

Kalger is really weak to mage in most of his forms - not so weak to mage in his longsword and mage form, you melee and hex those respectively

Ragers might still be useful just for the added dps rather than scrolls. Or maybe a range/mage familiar to increase your coverage against things that resist melee?

Stomp can currently be killed by a blood necklace again, however DOT abilities don't seem to work for this (at least slaughter didn't, needs confirming).

Bosses So Far:

Astea- small: pain to kill, slow as hell

Stomp- Large, : comparable to old stomp from what I have seen, 2h

Harlakk- small: wrecked it with 2h

Shadow Forger- Large, 2s3l: both 2h and hex seemed to hit well.

Ballak the Pummeler- Large, 2s3l: wrecked with hex, did not try 2h

Skeletal Trio- Large, 2s3l: very slow, they seem to have highish defence.

Necro- Large, 2s3l and 5 man: when i tried to solo could barely hit, when other duo/ rest of team came sped up considerably. Boss hits very hard compared to others.

Flesh Spoiler- Large, 2s3l: decent boss, both 2h and hex hit well

Thunderous- Large, soloed: absolutely wrecked with 2h, prolly finished boss in about a minute solo

Gulega- Small: wrecked with 2h, didn't hit hard, except for the special

Rammernaut- Large, 5 man: we hit very well with 2h, another boss that hits a lot on you

Hope Devourer- Large, 5 man: wrecked with 2h, joke of a boss

Kalger- Large, 5 man: wrecked with 2h, we only hexed mage form

Blink - Only found it on a c1, but he appeared to flee every single time I used my melee abilities. May be an auto-attack boss only, or I'm a bad luck Brian. Much further testing needed.

Harlak - incredibly fast boss, weak to melee, weak to range, not sure which is superior yet

Lexicus - very similar to pre eoc, range is best dps

Rammer - much weaker to melee compared to pre eoc, now a very quick boss, freedom works to recover from stuns

Runebound Behemoth - Absolutely tore it apart with Hex. Took two rounds to take it down, rapid fire was particularly useful as it constantly hit high. Wasn't range turmoiling either.
